HAPPY MAY DAY COMRADES
May is National Masturbation Month. So when you are done celebrating, go check out our "Stuff" page. But be careful, Jesus doesn't like it when you touch yourself.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ROMAN
I am in a music mood today, to click the following pics to enjoy some tunes
from around the internets.
We went to StarFest. I was only able to go Saturday, but Op X and Agent Stephanya were there the whole time!
It was fun. We got to see some familiar faces. Plus we met plenty of new people.
We even had people stop us and say "Hey, your the guys from ihatepeacocks.com".
That was pretty cool.
I got to meet Timothy Zahn, the Jedi Grand Master of Star Wars Authors.
Plus the Ever Powerful Christie Golden signed a copy of "Allies" for me.
Op X was rocking his Tony Stark costume and Agent Stephanya was an Assassin.
Both of them looked BADASS.
Check out the pics.
On the Concert Front:
We saw Filter at The Black Sheep on Thursday. They rocked the house.
AND, Op X and I hung out with Richard Patrick after the show.
We shot the breeze, talked music, politics,
back surgery and how the internet ruins everything.
It was a great experience because Rich Patrick is a big musical influence for us.
Getting to hang out with him causally was a dream come true.
Karl Hyde Solo album comes out today. Good tunes from one half of Underworld.
If you click the pic below, you can get it in a variety of formats from UnderworldLive.com.
But, if you are an iTunes person, pre-order the Deluxe version here.
On A Side Note: Amazon.com has The Deluxe/Import CD+DVD version of Underworld's "Oblivion with Bells" on sale for $2.99 + free shipping. Click here.
So, here is your Song of the Day:
THE SUN NEVER SETS ON MICHAEL BIEHN
This may be the best Micahel Biehn video I have ever seen.
Click the pic to read and watch the trailer of a lifetime.
Props to Jay for sharing this.
The GIF of the day comes from UnderTheMountainBunker.com
VIDEO OF THE DAY:
I don't want to add to the over saturation of supposition on the bombing in Boston.
I mourn the loss of life.
To those responsible, I hope the Cops get you before the people of Boston.
But either way, Justive would be served.
The show Sunday night was amazing. Fear Factory played a pretty good set. The Roman, me and Op X had a good time. I even got the set list.
Didn't have a chance to post anything until now.
Here are some pics I took:
I had a shit ton of fun at the Toy Con. Got to make some new friends, got to meet some ihatepeacocks fans and made some new friends.
I want to give a big shout out Roxy, Rio, Clint, Badia's Bazaar, TJ & JD and the Rest of the 501st of the Mountain Garrison
for helping to make it an awesome weekend for everybody.
I'd also like to give a shout out to the ihatepeacock
faithful for coming out to say hi.
We love you guys!
Scroll down and view our slide show from Flickr. I've added a few more pictures.
I don't know what to call it. The CS Toy-omic-con? The Colo Spgs Comic Con.
Whatever you wanna call it, it was fun. Talked to some familiar peeps. Met some fans and made some new friends. Good times. Looking Forward to day 2.
FEAR FACTORY kicks off their latest North American Tour tonight, right here in Colorado Springs. We will be there. This will be my 14th time seeing FEAR FACTORY. Plus, after the Toy-Comic Con, this will be a great way to end the weekend!
